A short night for the Chargers as they exhausted the Lapeer Lightning in just two periods of play 11-0. A night the Chargers were able to spread the wealth around seeing nine different players put the puck in the net. The first period the Chargers put five goals on the board being led by senior Jacque Lavrack with two, followed by senior Brenden Tarpening, junior Kyle Barbour, and sophomore Caleb Doll who picked up his first career goal in a Powers uniform.

The second period was much the same result as the Chargers were simply in a different league as they netted an additional six goals to complete the contest. Goals came from senior Nate Murawski, sophomore Nolan Berner, senior Trey Carlock, senior Luke Cramer and junior Greg Feamster. Junior goaltender Peyton Lenger provided the shutout for his 5th win.

Next week Powers will head to Midland to take on the Dow Chargers 4-0 and Chemics 2-3 to determine the SVL Champ. Powers is currently 3-0 in SVL play and 18-4 overall.
