Powers Catholic traveled to play the Lapeer Lightning at Crystal Fieldhouse in Burton on Saturday.

The Chargers had a balanced scoring night, getting goals by all 4 lines and every Charger recording a point. Ryan Lemker led the way with his first career varsity hat trick and assisting on a goal. Other Chargers scoring goals were Senior Marcus Pahl, Jack Dawley, Jacques Lavrack, Andrew Wurtz, Cooper Gerhardt, Michael Tucker (2) Eddie Barbieri Luke Cramer, and Mason Cznarnecki (2).

Goalie Peyton Lenger recorded his second shutout of the season.

The Chargers get back on the ice Wednesday February 24th hosting the Chemics of Midland, who defeated their biggest rival Midland Dow over the weekend and will be looking to upend the Chargers for 1st place in the Saginaw Valley League.
